Frequent Headaches

Frequent headaches are one of the most annoying conditions that affect millions of individuals each year. Some individuals have never experienced frequent headaches and then all of a sudden they get them all the time. Most people describe frequent headaches as a dull or pounding ache that goes on for hours and sometimes causes anxiety, nausea and irritation. Often times, many individuals are unable to focus on their daily activities. So, what is the cause of Frequent Headaches? Well, many things can trigger frequent headaches. In this article, we'll discuss some of the common things that might be triggering your frequent headaches:

Poor diet can be the leading cause of frequent headaches. If you are not eating a proper diet that contains the right amount of daily vitamins, you could start getting headaches. In addition, you should eat 3-4 small meals a day and drink plenty of water. Lastly, make sure that you do not skip meals.

Not getting the correct amount of rest can also cause frequent headaches. If you are not getting enough sleep, it could cause you to experience frequent headaches. After all, your body needs proper sleep every night to rejuvenate. Most physicians recommend eight hours of sleep each day.

Not exercising daily or staying active. By exercising at least 3 times a day, you can relieve stress and keep your heart and body in good shape. In addition, exercising prevents illnesses like headaches from overpowering your life by multiplying blood flow and preventing infections.

Excessive smoking. Smoking has been known to cause frequent headaches as well as being around someone who smokes. Therefore, even if you don’t smoke you could be getting headaches from people around you who smoke. Therefore, either stop smoking or steer clear from individuals who do smoke around you.

Straining your eyes. Not having the right glasses or contacts can definitely strain your eye and cause you to have frequent headaches. If you find yourself straining when you read or watch television or it has been a long time since you've had your eyes checked, then you need to make an appointment with the eye doctor right away. With the right prescription, you can prevent headaches caused from eye strain.

In conclusion, there are many factors that can influence your frequent headaches. If you  have been suffering from frequent headaches, take action by eating properly, exercising, not smoking and getting your eyes checked. If your headaches persist, consult with your physician and make sure you don’t have a more serious problem or other health related issues. I never knew so many things can cause headaches. I remember last week I had a headache that lasted for 4 days and it was so painful that I was lying in bed crying. Naps and Tylenol didn't work either. It turned out that I wasn't getting enough vitamins and it got better when I started eating more fruits and also taking a multivitamin.
